Sakura is originally from Akita but has lived in Tokyo for about 30 years. For 12 years, she was a tour guide taking Japanese guests abroad. Then she went to the US to study as an exchange student for one year and, due to realizing how unique and special Japan is, she decided to become a tour guide again. This time she wanted to share her passion for Japanese food and culture with people all over the world.
