Tomo is from New Zealand with a mixed Japanese and Malaysian heritage. He worked in English education for 5 years on a small island in Kagoshima prefecture, during which he joined various groups like the Okinawan Eisa dance club, an island-style shamisen club, and 2 music bands.
Tomo recently moved back to Osaka to reconnect with his roots here and to also learn more about the history and culture of Osaka. He hopes to share all the fun knowledge he’s learned about Osaka with his future guests.
