Maylene was born in California and raised in Arizona, USA. She first came to Japan as a study abroad student at Kyushu University in Fukuoka and returned in 2017, living in several regions of the countryside. Maylene loves Japan’s nature, onsens, and traditional crafts with her favorite foods being sukiyaki and Japan’s seasonal fruits.
