Mason is from Canada and discovered his interest in Japanese culture during his childhood from early exposure to Japanese media. He majored in Japanese language and culture and spent a year studying in Kyoto in 2017-2018. Although his current job doesn’t utilize the experience he gained during university, he can now combine both his interest in Japan and passion for cooking/food after joining Arigato Travel! He spends his free time playing video and board games, exercising, and building model kits. He is also obsessed with Shiba Inus and will purchase Shiba-themed products whenever he sees them!
