Gotemba Food and Nightlife Izakaya (Pub) Hopping

Spend an evening in this small city, an easy stop out side of Tokyo. Our nightlife tour is all about enjoying an evening of food and drinks with a local! You will have a chance to create an  original cocktail  or mocktail using Japanese spirits inspired by the ingredients of Shizuoka and Gotemba City!  Then you will head off to visit local izakaya (pubs) for an evening of hopping and trying local special dishes. Craft beer fans can try some local brews in a unique local bar. All the while we are exploring you can learn about the history and revitalization of this charming town at the base of Mt. Fuji. Gotemba has a lot to offer and you can also add this evening tour on to our daytime experience and spend a few days in this off-the-beaten-path location! 

Gotemba is a place that celebrates relaxed living, and friendly service. While traveling around Japan this is a great experience to learn more about dining and drinking culture and customs and connect with locals along the way!

We will visit 4 stops and you can try delicious foods special to the area. This tour is best for adults, but if you are traveling with your family be sure to contact us for a customized experience.

We have a strict policy about starting our tours on time. This is to protect the enjoyment of all our guests and restaurant partners. We are sorry to say that if you are not able to arrive at the meeting point by the departure time, the tour will start regardless and no refund will be provided. We are also unable to accommodate meeting up in any of the food stops once you’ve missed the start of the tour.

Please keep in mind, however, that we cannot make an allergy-free or dietary restriction food guarantee since food is prepared in kitchens that do not belong to Arigato Japan. Also, some stops may not have a viable substitution, but we will make every effort to compensate at different stops throughout the tour.
