Our Mt. Fuji Virtual Tour is a great way to get to know the most iconic and majestic symbol of Japan.  Mt Fuji is very special to Japanese people, it represents faith and admiration. On our online experience, we will share Mt. Fuji and the areas around it from a local’s perspective. You will get to hear about  the history, culture as well as stories from the  locals who live in Shizuoka prefecture.  We will discover some of the things to see and do and of course the best food that you must try when you visit someday!

What our guests say about our Virtual Experiences :

I have to admit, I wasn’t sure how a virtual food tour would go without being there to see and taste things. But it was AMAZING. I’m so impressed with how Arigato has adapted these tours for online. The guide was engaging and funny. The tour was very informative and covered everything from food history, to geography, and even learning some Japanese terms … but all in a very fun interactive way. –Rachelle_Lucas_FL Orlando, FL

Houjicha: Delicious Japanese Roasted Green Tea

Denise Aoki

Houjicha is made of leaves harvested later in the season. Instead of just being steamed like the other green teas, these leaves are also roasted in a porcelain or cast iron pot over charcoal at a high temperatures, which gives the tea a very particular reddish-brown color and a toasty caramel flavor, sweeter than other green tea varieties.
