Start your Japan adventure with an unforgettable culinary journey through two of Tokyo’s most iconic neighborhoods, Yurakucho and Ginza. This 3-hour immersive food tour is the perfect way to experience Tokyo’s vibrant dining scene and get a taste of its culture when you first arrive in Japan.

Feel the energy of Ginza’s upscale streets, where history and luxury blend seamlessly, and contrast it with the retro charm of Yurakucho’s Yokocho alleys. Stroll beneath glowing red lanterns and neon signs as the scent of sizzling skewers and freshly grilled seafood fills the air. Your guide will take you back in time to the Showa era, where cozy izakaya (Japanese pubs) offer an authentic taste of local life.

Savor regional specialties from across Japan, from perfectly crisp rice crackers made with a secret recipe dating back over 200 years to delicious dishes at hidden gems only locals know. Listen to the hum of lively conversations, and let the unique ambiance of each stop envelop you.

End your evening with a delectable dessert, leaving your taste buds delighted and your heart full. This tour offers a true feast for the senses and a memorable introduction to Tokyo’s culinary and cultural wonders.

This is a food tour you MUST try when visiting Tokyo!

Changes on tours: Applicable substitutions may be made due to public holidays, weather conditions, and other unforeseen circumstances.

For Vegetarians:

Some food that we serve may have dashi, a soup stock made from kelp (seaweed) and bonito (skipjack tuna) as well as other ingredients. Dashi is the cornerstone of Japanese cuisine and is used in many/most Japanese dishes. Please note that we may not be able to accommodate your dietary needs if you cannot consume dashi. Additionally, please inform us if you can eat eggs and dairy products.

If you cannot consume Dashi, we recommend booking a private tour with us and we can offer some alternatives. Again, be aware, it will still be a challenge to 100% avoid fish stock.
